During 2025, Hana moved to Japan. During her time abroad she lived and worked amaongst arists and master potters of the likes of Kazuya Ishida - whom she apprenticed for over the spring time. Focused on pushing the confines of clay and colour, experiementing with texture and working with locally sourced materials fired in Traditional over multiple days in Anagama Wood Fired Kilns. These works and technical explorations were created during her residency with Gasbon Metabolism in Yamanashi and during workshop With american potter, John Dix in Tamba Sasayama.
