I am a multidisciplinary artist and dancer based in Melbourne and Currently living Japan, weaving contemporary painting, traditional ceramics, sculpture and movement into a cohesive narrative. My practice is rooted in exploring the dynamic relationships between three-dimensional art forms, where texture, colour, shape, depth and emotion converge.
My work is informed by years of travel, my own diverse cultural roots and experience growing up in Australia. Emphasising the importance of sustainable practices and environmentally conscious materials. By drawing on traditional methodologies while infusing them with modern perspectives, I aim to create pieces that resonate with both the past and the present, celebrating the enduring connection between craft and cultural identity.
Each piece I create is an invitation to reflect on the interplay between tradition and innovation, the natural world and the human experiences . It is my hope that my art not only engages but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the stories embedded in the materials and techniques that shape our shared histories.
